There is a non refundable £40 deposit to secure any casting appointment. We are unable to hold an appointment without the deposit having been paid. This amount will be deducted from the total cost of your cast which is paid at the end of the casting appointment. We understand that sometimes things are out of your control and life is unpredictable (especially with a baby!) so we allow for you to reschedule your appointment once with as much notice as possible. If an appointment is cancelled for the second time a new deposit will have to be paid.
We kindly request that you arrive on time for your appointment. If you are more than 15 minutes late and there is an appointment booked in after you, your appointment may need to be rescheduled and another booking deposit will need to be paid.
Also please note that if you do not turn up and have not contacted me prior to your appointment to reschedule, your booking deposit will not be refunded and will have to pay another deposit should you wish to book again.
We take great pride in our work and our aim is always for you to absolutely love what we create. Returns are only accepted if there is a significant flaw, not because your not happy with something out of our control such as the position of your baby’s hand for example. If it's decided there needs to be a recasting because of something out of our control, there is a flat fee of £50 for a recasting. A recasting is only available at our discretion.
The materials used are safe gentle and hypoallergenic. However please be mindful that the casting process involves the casting material being applied directly to the skin. The alginate used to take the moulds is derived from seaweed and is used commonly by dentists. The only other materials used are water, baby wipes and baby oil. If not made aware before the casting appointment we will assume there are no skin or health issues and we are not liable for any skin reactions.
