Your casting appointment takes place at my home in Welwyn, Hertfordshire and typically takes 30-45 minutes. This gives you plenty of time for the likes of choosing your casting finish and for me to take the moulds.
Taking the moulds is a very quick process. I use a product called alginate which is derived from seaweed - its the same product dentists use to take moulds of your teeth. The actual casting process takes minutes and there is no pain involved - think of it like placing your hand in a pot of goo and after a short while setting to a rubber consistency. If you are having a baby casting done, there's no problem if they sleep through the whole process or I can cast them during a feed. My aim is to make it relaxing and enjoyable for you both.
Once I have all the moulds I need, you can leave the rest to me and expect to have your gorgeous new keepsake ready for collection after approximately 8 weeks.
